Art Gallery 101 has extensive experience with sculptures, objects, and antiques in the Washington DC Metro area. Our office is located off of Main Street in Fairfax, Virginia. Artwork and heirlooms may be damaged in a variety of ways due to fire, water, smoke, soot, mold, or mishandling. House fires and flooding can leave residual film on artwork that may lead to damage over time. Art Gallery 101 can clean soot from fires, clean and remove mold, fix cracks, recast and reassemble broken pieces. We specialize in art restoration and repair. It is necessary to remove this as soon as possible in order to ensure the integrity of the art. Due to the variety of materials used and varying degrees of damage, testing may be required to determine whether a work of art is restorable.
